Exciting competition at tennis tournament celebrating the birthday of late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet

The 3rd Phan Family Tennis Tournament in Ho Chi Minh City, 2024, for the Hung Hau Cup, was held to celebrate the 102nd birthday of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2024). This is also a playground to improve health, help club members bond more, and at the same time expand the connection between the Phan Family Tennis Club in Ho Chi Minh City and other tennis clubs across the country.

Mr. Phan Thanh Nam, Permanent Vice President of the Phan Family Council in Vietnam, shared his feelings at the opening ceremony.

Attending the opening ceremony of the tournament were Mr. Phan Thanh Nam, son of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet, Permanent Vice President of the Phan Family Council in Vietnam, President of the Phan Family Council in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Phan Tien Sy - Secretary of the Phan Family Council in Ho Chi Minh City; representatives of sponsors and many athletes registered to compete.

This year’s tournament takes place all day on November 17, with doubles matches and a knockout format. If the pairs lose their first match, they will play a play-off. The winning pair will receive a trophy, gifts and VND10 million; the runner-up will receive VND6 million; and the third-place pair will receive VND3 million.

- Champion: Phan Thien Hoang - David Quang

- Runner-up: Ha Khanh - Pham Tuan Anh

- Third place: Do Bien - Nguyen Tan Sang, Phan Hieu Nhan - Bui Phat Huong
