HANOI "Morning on the Perfume River" by Luong Xuan Nhi or "The Wharf in Can Tho" by Dang Chung depict the beauty of Vietnam at the exhibition "My Country".

The painting "Morning on the Perfume River" by artist Luong Xuan Nhi (1914-2006). He is famous for his portraits of young women and landscapes and activities that reflect Vietnamese beauty.
The work is one of more than 80 paintings at the exhibition "My Country", which took place from August 28 to September 10, at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. The paintings were created over many periods, from 1930 to 2007, by famous painters, from the Indochina Fine Arts generation such as Luong Xuan Nhi, Nguyen Van Ty, Tran Dinh Tho, Phan Ke An to the resistance art generation such as Luu Cong Nhan, Dao Duc, Duong Ngoc Canh, Tran Thanh Ngoc, Nguyen Thanh Chau and authors of the following generation.

Painter Xu Man (1925-2007) painted the lacquer work "Dawn on the Central Highlands Mountains" in 1975, measuring 98.5 x 122.5 cm. Having made many contributions to the Central Highlands fine arts, he received the State Prize for Literature and Arts (2012).
During his lifetime, Xu Man was a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, term I (1955-1982) and term II (1983-1988), and won the A prize in painting at the National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1976.

The painting "Earth and Water" measures 81x121 cm by author Nguyen Quang Tho, created in 1978, oil on canvas.
He has been a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association since 1960. In 2001, Nguyen Quang Tho was awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts in 2001. His oil and lacquer paintings have many creative brushstrokes, aiming for innovation in realistic painting.

Oil paint is a popular material in the artist's works. His paintings have a graceful, simple style but have high artistic value, often taking the theme of soldiers and the relationship between the army and the people. In the last years of his life, he continued to create and participate in many exhibitions organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

Nguyen Tho Tuong (1957) created the painting "Landscape" in 1990. The artist painted on oil paint, size 83x103 cm. Nguyen Tho Tuong participated in many group exhibitions, exhibitions of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, won many art awards at the National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1990 and 2000, and the International Graphics Award in Japan (NOMA) in 1994.

The countryside scene in the early morning is depicted in the oil painting "Ba Vi Morning Dew", size 80.5x99.5 cm. The author Luu Cong Nhan (1930-2007) completed the painting in 1993.
The artist graduated from the Viet Bac Resistance Fine Arts School. His paintings use many materials such as oil paint, watercolor, and diverse brushwork from realism to abstraction. He is an outstanding student of the famous painter To Ngoc Van.

The painting "Going to the market" was painted in lacquer by artist Tran Dinh Tho (1919-2011) in 2005. The work measures 61x91 cm.
In addition to the static paintings, the exhibition features eight works using cinemagraph technology, giving viewers new experiences.
