At the Department of Information and Communications bridge, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications chaired the Conference, Mr. Mai Thanh Hai, representative of the National Digital Transformation Agency, Ministry of Information and Communications, Department of Culture and Information, information technology staff of Tra Vinh City People's Committee together with leaders, civil servants of specialized departments of the Department of Information and Communications and reporters participated in the presentation at the Conference.

The training conference includes the following contents: Overview of the Community Digital Technology Team, sharing stories of implementation and practical stories in the locality; instructions on implementing online public services (submitting documents online, instructions on digital signature and exploiting the data management warehouse of organizations and individuals on the administrative procedure settlement information system of the province); instructions on installing and using Smart Tra Vinh, sending field feedback; instructions on installing and using the VneID app to settle administrative procedures.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuan said that in recent times, Tra Vinh province has deployed many digital platforms to serve digital transformation in internal operations, coordination in the implementation of public duties of state agencies; in particular, the province has deployed the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System and the Electronic Data Warehouse of organizations and individuals... to meet the requirements of supporting people and businesses to easily access and use public services in the form of online services; deploying the Field Reflection Information System platform ready to support people and businesses to interact and send feedback on issues that have negative impacts on social life and production and business activities of enterprises to public agencies. In general, the platforms have brought about many practical effects. However, the level of achievement has not yet met expectations, especially the participation of people and businesses in exploiting and using the relevant digital platforms deployed is still very limited.
To promote the role of the Community Digital Technology Team in implementing the province's digital transformation goals, especially supporting people to make the most of digital platforms deployed by state agencies at all levels to carry out administrative procedures; reflect on the scene; contribute ideas and suggestions in policy making, management and operation of socio-economic development, the Department of Information and Communications coordinates with the National Digital Transformation Agency, Ministry of Information and Communications to organize digital skills training for members of the Community Digital Technology Team in the province on related contents to implement the set goals.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chuan requested the leaders of the People's Committees at the commune level to direct the local community digital technology teams to organize and deploy a campaign to re-instruct people to use the digital platforms that have been trained and instructed. In particular, deploy the campaign to "go to every alley, knock on every door, guide each person to use services and applications to develop the digital economy" in response to the National Digital Transformation Day, the Provincial Digital Transformation Day in 2024 from October 1-10, 2024 according to Plan No. 88/KH-UBND dated August 9, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee; The Department of Culture and Information, the district youth union, the town youth union, and the city youth union support and coordinate regularly to propagate so that people can grasp and understand more about the benefits of digital services, contributing to building a digital society, promoting the digital transformation process of the province.
