Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan added that hosting the world teqball championship is also an opportunity to introduce the cultural beauty, friendliness and dynamism of Ho Chi Minh City people to international friends. Therefore, in addition to the competition activities, the organizing committee also has sideline programs such as the projection mapping theme "Hello Vietnam". The cultural space called "Oriental House" in the Southern style is restored at the tournament venue, creating opportunities for athletes and tourists to exchange and learn about Vietnamese culture and cuisine.

Famous Brazilian teqball player, reigning world bronze medalist Ester Viana Mendes said that he and his teammates have prepared very carefully for the world championship in Ho Chi Minh City, ready to conquer the highest title. Meanwhile, athlete Do Bao Huy, representing the Vietnamese teqball team, shared his determination to compete to the best of his ability and contribute good matches. "As a new sport, the Vietnamese teqball team is also participating in the world championship for the first time. We were given the opportunity to train in Hungary before the tournament to improve our techniques. My team and I will try our best and not focus too much on performance targets," said Do Bao Huy.

Today, the organizing committee held a technical meeting and drew lots for the events of the world teqball championship. The matches will take place on 6 floors at Nguyen Hue walking street. The final matches on December 7 and 8 will take place at the main stadium in front of the Sunwah building. The opening and closing ceremonies will take place at the main stage on Le Loi street.
Teqball is a sport that combines football, table tennis, sepak takraw and indirect competition. This sport was founded in Hungary in 2014 by former football player Gabor Borsanyi, businessman Gyorgy Gattyan and computer scientist Viktor Huszar. The International Teqball Federation currently has 122 national federations, more than 2,000 clubs worldwide and more than 1,800 trained referees. Teqball will be introduced by Thailand at the 33rd SEA Games in 2025.
