Ho Chi Minh City officially announced the suspension of operations of 40/41 Apax Leaders English centers.

Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Hieu signed a decision to suspend the operation of 40 Apax Leaders centers. Currently, the Apax Leaders English system has only one center located on Phan Xich Long Street, Phu Nhuan District that is allowed to operate.

In case Apax Leaders wants to reopen or change location, they must submit a written report to the Department of Education and Training. The Department of Education and Training will inspect and if qualified, grant permission to reopen.

It is known that the Education Service Information Page of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has updated the status of 41 Apax Leaders English centers. Of which, 39 centers are in a state of temporary suspension of operations, one center located on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Ward 2, District 3 is in a state of dissolution. Only the center on Phan Xich Long Street is in a state of operation.

Recently on April 21, in an exchange with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporters, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training confirmed that Apax Leaders had issued a written report on the restoration of English language centers in the city, after warning of the possibility of suspending the operations of 40/41 facilities of this company.

Specifically, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, confirmed that Apax Leaders had reported to the Department about the restoration of operations. Regarding the policy, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training supports and requests the unit to complete the reopening documents. "On that basis, the Department of Education and Training will conduct an inspection, and any center that meets the conditions will be granted permission to reopen," said Mr. Minh.

At that time, Apax English Joint Stock Company sent a document to shareholders, investors and partners stating that it had sent a report to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City to present the resumption of operations of foreign language centers in the city.
