Cam Pha City hands over marine farming areas to 58 households and individuals

On the afternoon of January 9, the People's Committee of Cam Pha City organized a ceremony to hand over decisions on marine farming areas to 58 households and individuals with permanent residence in the wards of Quang Hanh, Cam Thach, Cam Thuy, Cam Trung, Cam Binh, Cam Dong, Cam Tay, and Cam Son. These are the households that were given decisions on marine farming areas in the first phase.

Leaders of Cam Pha City People's Committee handed over the decision to allocate marine farming areas to households and individuals in the city in the first phase.

Accordingly, the water surface area licensed for households for aquaculture has an area of ​​10,000m2 or more; the term of assignment is within 10 years. These households are the livelihood subjects assigned the sea area without collecting water surface fees according to the provisions in Point a, Clause 2, Article 44, Law on Fisheries.

According to the approved plan for developing marine aquaculture in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province until 2030, with a vision to 2045, Cam Pha city has established 21 marine farming areas in 7 wards including: Cam Thach, Cam Thuy, Cam Trung, Cam Thanh, Cam Binh, Cam Dong, Cam Son with a total area of ​​2,476.1 hectares. Of which: The total area attracting investment is 1,433.4 hectares; the total area of ​​dispersed farming is 1,042.65 hectares.

Range up to 3 nautical miles, total area within 3 nautical miles is 2,172.9ha (of which potential fish farming area is 50.4ha, potential mollusk farming area is 543.2ha); total area from 3 to 6 nautical miles is 303.3ha (of which potential fish farming area is 11.0ha, potential mollusk farming area is 75.8ha), there is no area beyond 6 nautical miles.
