On the afternoon of January 6, the People's Committee of Dam Ha district held a conference to hand over the decision to allocate marine farming areas to 36 households and individuals in the district.
Accordingly, the water surface area licensed for households to cultivate is 625m2 per plot, with a delivery period of 15 years in Thoi Day area, Tan Lap commune, Dam Ha district.
These households are the livelihood subjects assigned sea areas without collecting water surface fees according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 2, Article 44, Law on Fisheries.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Anh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, requested that immediately after receiving the decision to allocate the marine farming area, households must replace all foam buoys with standard materials, ensuring environmental hygiene according to the standards. Competent authorities shall provide detailed instructions and carry out procedures for granting licenses for cage aquaculture to organizations and individuals according to regulations. He hoped that households would continue to improve the quality of farming to ensure stable income and ensure environmental hygiene and safety in the local marine environment.
At the conference, the leaders of the District Farmers' Association presented the decision and launched the Dam Ha District Marine Farming Association.
