Toyota Vietnam Automobile Company continues to coordinate with the Ministry of Education and Training, with the support of the National Traffic Safety Committee, to implement the program "Toyota and I learn Traffic Safety" for the 2024-2025 school year for primary school students with the desire to equip students with knowledge and skills on traffic safety, thereby raising awareness and strictly complying with regulations when participating in traffic.

This year, the national program “Toyota and I learn Traffic Safety” continues to implement two main activities: Workshop on “Innovation in traffic safety education methods in primary schools” for managers and teachers and National exchange to learn about safe traffic skills for students.

The content of this year's program also closely follows the provisions of Article 4, Decree 151/2024/ND-CP, on introducing legal education content on road traffic safety and order into educational institutions to help students better understand the regulations and the importance of complying with traffic safety and order.

This further affirms the correct orientation of the program "Toyota and I learn Traffic Safety" with the goal of contributing to educating and raising traffic awareness for the young generation as well as building a safer and more civilized society.

After 20 years of implementation, the program "Toyota and I learn Traffic Safety" has recorded positive and outstanding results in applying the educational method "learning while playing, playing while learning" with a natural, gentle approach, bringing high efficiency.

The program not only helps raise students' awareness of traffic safety, but also encourages them to practice and apply knowledge in daily life.

At the provincial level, the program will organize exchanges on innovative traffic safety education methods from December 2024 in 8 provinces and cities, including Lam Dong, Tuyen Quang, Phu Yen, Ha Nam, Hoa Binh, Cao Bang, Vung Tau, and Can Tho.

In localities, for students, the program focuses on 3 contents: learning about traffic safety knowledge; drawing pictures on the topic of traffic safety; and showing talent.

For teachers, the program includes 2 contents: Practice 1 activity on traffic safety education, maximum 20 minutes in the spirit of innovative teaching methods and effective use of teaching equipment; participate in the workshop on "Innovation in traffic safety education methods in primary schools".

Following the provincial program, 8 teams that have successfully implemented traffic safety education will represent 8 provinces and cities to participate in the national program held in March 2025.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in many useful activities to improve awareness and skills in safe traffic participation.
