Island tours and tourist attractions in Nha Trang attract visitors on September 2nd

(Fatherland) - During the first two days of the September 2nd holiday, island tours and tourist attractions in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) attracted tens of thousands of visitors, stable compared to the same period last year.

On the morning of September 1, thousands of cars lined up along Tran Phu coastal road (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province) heading to tourist destinations in the south of the city. On the second day of the National Day holiday, the weather in the coastal city was cool and pleasant.

The authorities were deployed to regulate traffic at the Tran Phu - Hoang Dieu roundabout, as the area became more crowded with vehicles as the afternoon wore on. However, there was no traffic congestion in the north direction to the center of Nha Trang City.

At Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, there have been hundreds of boats taking visitors on tours of Nha Trang Bay with destinations such as: Bai Tranh Island, Con Se Tre, San Ho Bay, etc.

Mr. Tran Van Phu, Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf (under Nha Trang Bay Management Board), said that on August 31, more than 4,400 passengers got off the boat to join the island tour. Today (September 1), there are an estimated 6,500 passengers, remaining stable compared to the same period last year.

The Oceanographic Museum also attracts a large number of visitors during the September 2nd holiday. This place is preserving and conserving a collection of precious marine life specimens with about 23,000 specimens of 5,000 species; along with tanks raising more than 300 typical and valuable marine species;... and has become a favorite destination for many tourists when coming to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc, who came from Dak Lak to Nha Trang City with his family for a vacation during the National Day holiday, said that although the traffic was congested, there were no traffic jams, and the tourist attractions were not too crowded, which helped everyone in the group feel very comfortable. According to the schedule, after visiting the Institute of Oceanography, Mr. Phuc will take his family to enjoy seafood, then go to Vinpearl Harbor (Hon Tre Island) to have fun and stay overnight there.

According to statistics from the Ponagar Tower Relic Site Management Board, more than 5,000 visitors visited the site on August 31, about 30% higher than usual. The number of visitors is expected to increase during the last two days of the National Day holiday (September 2-3).

Coming to Ponagar Tower, visitors can not only visit the architecture of the tower complex that has existed for more than 1,200 years, but also enjoy Cham-style dances, "not staged" to create a sense of intimacy.

Mr. Jacob (left) and his friend from the Czech Republic came to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa for the first time, expressed their deep impression of the Ponagar Tower Relic Site, and loved the Tamia Dwa Buk "water carrying" dance of the Cham people. "I will come back here in the near future", said Mr. Jacob.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 31, the first day of the holiday, the beaches in Nha Trang City were packed with locals and tourists swimming and cooling off. On this occasion, Cam Ranh International Airport served about 450 landings and takeoffs with about 76,845 passengers, of which international passengers overwhelmingly outnumbered domestic passengers. However, the smooth road network helped Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa attract a large number of domestic passengers from many provinces in the South Central region, the Central Highlands and the southern provinces by personal vehicles.

Mr. Vo Quang Hoang, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Hotel Association, said that many large hotels have up to 90% of room bookings during this holiday, mainly 3-day-2-night room packages, focusing on the days of August 30 - September 1. However, Khanh Hoa tourism industry still expects the number of visitors to continue to increase on September 2, tourism businesses are always well prepared to satisfy tourists, contributing to building Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa destination to "touch the hearts" of domestic and foreign tourists.
