In 2023, Chu Van An High School continues to lead the benchmark score for grade 10 in Hanoi with a score of 44.5 points (an increase of 1.25 points compared to 2022).

The admission score for grade 10 in Hanoi is calculated according to the formula: (Math score + Literature score) x 2 + Foreign language score + priority score. With this scoring method, candidates must achieve an average of over 8 points to be admitted to top schools. For example, candidates need to achieve an average of 8.9 points and 8.65 points/subject to be admitted to the two schools with the highest admission scores, Chu Van An High School and Kim Lien High School.
