The family of actor Alain Delon said he passed away peacefully at his home in Douchy, in the Val de Loire region of France.
Alain Delon's health has declined in recent years, especially after a stroke. His last public appearance was when he received the honorary Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2019.

Actor Alain Delon was born in 1935 in Sceaux, a small commune in the suburbs of Paris. In 1957, he made his acting debut in Send a Woman When the Devil Fails directed by Yves Allégret.
