US President D. Trump speaks to Congress for the first time in his second term

On the morning of March 5, Vietnam time, US President Donald Trump delivered a speech before Congress, for the first time since taking office for his second term.

The speech focused on presenting his vision for America and the world in the context of the current US administration promoting strong policies to implement the "America First" policy.

According to the White House announcement, in his speech, the US leader is expected to review the executive orders issued in the first days of his term and outline an action plan for the remainder of his term.

On the domestic front, the 47th White House boss is expected to address tariff policy, streamlining the administrative apparatus of federal agencies, and tightening control over the flow of immigrants to the US.

Meanwhile, on foreign affairs, President Trump will address diplomatic efforts to achieve peace in the conflict in Ukraine as well as the situation in the Middle East and tariff policies towards China, Mexico and Canada.
