Competition summary of the Department of Industry and Trade of the North Central provinces

On the afternoon of January 15, in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province, the summary conference of the Emulation Cluster of the Department of Industry and Trade of the provinces in the North Central region (Cluster VI) took place.

Reporting at the Conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2024 and the direction and tasks in 2025 of the Emulation Cluster of the Department of Industry and Trade of the North Central provinces (Cluster VI), the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Binh - Head of Emulation Cluster No. VI - said that in implementing the emulation work in 2024, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Industry and Trade of the North Central provinces have strived to compete and successfully complete the assigned tasks. Thereby, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committees of the provinces awarded the Emulation Flag, emulation titles and certificates of merit to many collectives and individuals who have excellently and comprehensively completed their tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2023-2024.

Specifically, Emulation Cluster No. VI has completed 100% of the tasks set out in the plan for 2024; over 95% of the collectives have achieved the title of "Advanced Labor Collective", of which 20% of the collectives have achieved the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; over 95% of the cadres have achieved the title of advanced workers, of which 15% have achieved the title of grassroots emulation fighters. A number of departments have been awarded emulation flags in 2024 by the People's Committees of the provinces; and have been commended by all levels and sectors in thematic emulation movements.

At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade of the North Central provinces regularly coordinate with each other to exchange expertise, share experiences in developing plans, projects, models, plans, and policies of the industry. At the same time, they exchange and learn experiences in promoting investment; experience in solving difficulties for industrial projects; provide information on the capacity of industrial products in the area; coordination mechanisms with the Management Board of industrial parks; implement industrial promotion projects...

In addition, the Departments of Industry and Trade of the region have seriously implemented the content of cooperation in providing information, documents, statistics, and reports; directed specialized departments to cooperate in providing information on assigned fields upon request, through direct exchanges, providing documents via email, exchanging periodic monthly, quarterly, and annual activity reports and magazine publications, the Industry and Trade Newspaper. Thanks to that, the departments have monitored and grasped the situation of the Industry and Trade sector in the whole region.

According to Mr. Phan Hoai Nam - Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Binh province, "In 2024, the Party Committees of the Department of Industry and Trade of the provinces in the North Central region have enhanced their roles and responsibilities in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of emulation movements; focusing on innovating the content and methods of organizing emulation movements and propaganda and mobilization work, and have done a good job of organizing and registering emulation and rewards according to the instructions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. At the same time, actively responding to emulation movements launched by superiors ."

In addition, each agency and unit has actively launched a widespread patriotic emulation movement associated with the campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and celebrating the unit's founding anniversary, competing to welcome the Trade Union Congress at all levels... Units in the Cluster proactively and actively coordinated to organize activities with many practical meanings. In 2024, the basic units closely followed the assigned political tasks, implemented and completed and exceeded the set plan targets.

“ Through the exchange and learning between member units in the Cluster, we have gained a lot of experience to help the emulation and reward work become more and more qualitative and effective. This is also the motivation for the units to strive to complete the assigned tasks well, at the same time creating unity, solidarity and cohesion among member units ” - Mr. Nam shared.

Many tasks for emulation work in 2025

At the Conference, the Departments of Industry and Trade discussed, shared experiences and exchanged some contents for the emulation work in 2025.

Accordingly, the Departments of Industry and Trade will continue to thoroughly grasp, deploy, propagate and organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards; Directive 34-CT/TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on promoting and improving the quality of emulation and rewards; Directive No. 05-CT/TW "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

Organize the launching of the Patriotic Emulation Movement to successfully carry out the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and respond to emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister.

Strive to complete the goals, targets and tasks of the Industry and Trade sector in 2025, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. Closely follow the political tasks, organize and launch practical and effective emulation movements to promote the growth and socio-economic development of the sector. Adapt safely and flexibly; speed up the implementation of the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and key projects. Enhance the spirit and responsibility for performing assigned tasks, innovate leadership, management and operation methods; institutionalize and develop a comprehensive implementation plan for all areas of state management of the Industry and Trade sector.

The emulation target for 2025 set for cluster VI is to complete 100% of the 2025 plan tasks; over 95% of the collectives achieve the title of "Advanced Labor Collective", of which 20% achieve the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; over 95% of cadres achieve the title of advanced workers, of which over 15% achieve the title of grassroots emulation fighters; strive to be ranked in the top of good and excellent in terms of administrative reform index (Par Index) and provincial-level department, branch and industry competitiveness index (DDCI); strive to receive 1 emulation flag and 2 certificates of merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the departments.
