On the afternoon of November 21, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a summary of the Front's work and emulation movements of the Fatherland Front in districts, towns and cities in 2024; directions and tasks for 2025. Comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired.
In 2024, closely following the direction of the province, the Fatherland Front of districts, towns and cities in the province focused on directing and implementing planned tasks, unexpected and arising tasks with many outstanding results. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels for the 2024 - 2029 term was successfully deployed and organized in the area. The organization was solemn, practical, ensuring quality, efficiency and progress according to the regulations of the Central and the province. Emulation movements to achieve achievements to welcome the Congress were deployed enthusiastically, widely and in depth with 375 models, works and tasks. Effectively organized many meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory with many activities of visiting, expressing gratitude and giving gifts to people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution; mobilizing support to build 200 new houses for poor households in Dien Bien province with a value of 10 billion VND. Successfully organized the National Great Unity Day in residential areas in 2024 with nearly 189,000 participants. The mobilization, support and relief work for people affected by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi) was promptly deployed by the Fatherland Front of localities to support people to overcome the consequences, launch environmental cleaning campaigns, call for and receive support from organizations and individuals in cash and many essential goods worth 25 billion VND. Implemented many social security activities, supported and helped the poor and people in difficult circumstances to escape poverty, including organizing the giving of Tet gifts with a total of over 115,000 gifts, worth nearly 60 billion VND.
Campaigns and patriotic emulation movements continue to be promoted, associated with the emulation to welcome the Congress such as: Campaign for the whole people to unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; Campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods; Emulation movement for solidarity and creativity... The work of supervision, social criticism, participation in preventing and combating corruption and waste, and participation in Party and State building continues to be focused on. Improve the operational capacity of the Front system. Continue to improve the effectiveness of people's foreign affairs activities in the new situation. Innovate and improve the effectiveness of information and propaganda work, grasp the people's situation, improve the quality and effectiveness of the Fatherland Front Community Pages at all levels in the province.
At the conference, delegates representing the Fatherland Front of districts, towns and cities presented and highlighted some of the results achieved at the grassroots level in 2024, and discussed some of the difficulties and obstacles that need to be resolved to better perform their roles and tasks in 2025 and the following years. In addition to the achieved results, there are still some shortcomings and limitations such as: Propaganda and mobilization work for people to carry out site clearance in some localities still faces many difficulties and is behind schedule compared to requirements. Mobilizing people to participate in some movements has not been highly effective. Monitoring and social criticism activities at the grassroots level have not received much attention in many places...
Overcoming difficulties and shortcomings, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee directed the Fatherland Front at all levels to continue to focus on completing the tasks in the remaining months of 2024, building directions and tasks in 2025. In particular, focusing on successfully organizing the election of Village and Ward Heads for the 2025-2027 term in accordance with regulations, preparing to organize Party Congresses at all levels, propagating and mobilizing people to contribute opinions to the documents of Party Congresses at all levels. Implementing the preparation work for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Propagating and mobilizing people of all walks of life, thoroughly grasping and implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the province's socio-economic development tasks in 2025; Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party. Concretize the Resolution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels and the 12th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. Continue to effectively implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the emulation movement "Solidarity, creativity, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, international integration" associated with digital transformation, the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses" and patriotic emulation movements. Organizing the 2025 Residential Singing Festival creates a competitive atmosphere among all classes of people to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, the 14th National Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and celebrate the anniversaries of the country's major holidays. Continue to innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels. Improve the quality of participation in preventing and combating corruption and waste, building a clean and strong Party and State. Complete and consolidate the organizational apparatus, staff and civil servants in a streamlined and effective manner. Continue to diversify forms of gathering and uniting ethnic minorities, religions, and overseas Vietnamese to participate in building and defending the Fatherland. Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation.
Also within the framework of the program, delegates voted to honor and evaluate the Eastern and Western Emulation Clusters.
