On June 5, the Party Committee of Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO) held a preliminary review of 2 years of implementing Conclusion 01-KL/TW on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; commending collectives and individuals who actively studied and followed Uncle Ho in the period of May 19, 2022 - May 19, 2023.

Attending were comrades: Vo Van Tan, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Duong Hong Nhan, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of SAWACO.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Vo Van Tan acknowledged and commended the efforts of the SAWACO Party Committee in concretizing the implementation of the core contents of Conclusion No. 01.
Comrade Vo Van Tan suggested that the SAWACO Party Committee continue to pay attention to raising awareness among cadres, party members, and union members about the content, value, and significance of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle. At the same time, it is necessary to closely combine studying and following Uncle Ho with performing well the political tasks of each unit and individual.

In addition, party members and employees of SAWACO promote dynamism and creativity in orienting production and business effectively, ensuring the goal of providing safe, continuous and stable water to the people.
Implementing the patriotic emulation movement associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the entire SAWACO Party Committee has had many creative models and good solutions in emulation of labor, production and business. Thereby, many bright examples have emerged in initiatives to contribute ideas and overcome difficulties in the fields of production and business activities.

As a result, 212 initiatives participated in the program "One million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The unit also successfully organized the 4th Science, Technology and Innovation Week; "SAWACO Creative Ideas Gathering" received nearly 500 creative ideas from employees and workers.
According to Standing Deputy Secretary of SAWACO Party Committee Ly Buu Nghia, SAWACO has developed contents associated with the process of building corporate culture, promoting administrative reform, improving customer service quality, digital transformation towards the goal of modernizing the water industry, and building a smart water supply system.

Faced with new tasks required by the city's water supply sector, Mr. Ly Buu Nghia called on each cadre, party member, employee and worker of the Corporation to constantly strive to study and follow Uncle Ho in each specific task.

Along with that is solidarity, constant research and learning, many initiatives, technical improvements, labor productivity improvement, and increasingly modernizing the water supply industry. From there, ensuring the goal of producing clean, safe, quality water, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.

On this occasion, SAWACO commended and rewarded 40 groups and 93 individuals who had outstanding achievements in studying and following Uncle Ho.
During the period 2021 - 2023, SAWACO proposed the city level to reward 4 collectives and 6 individuals; the Corporation level to reward 82 collectives and 192 individuals who are outstanding in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
