Details of areas in Ho Chi Minh City with water outages on weekend nights

TPO - During the weekend night, Thu Duc City and many districts in Ho Chi Minh City will have their water supply interrupted to serve the maintenance of the power system at Thu Duc water plant.

According to Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), the unit will temporarily stop pumping clean water into the network at BOO Thu Duc Water Plant to carry out maintenance work on the electrical system at the water plant.

Water supply suspension time is from 11pm on July 27 (Saturday) to 3am on July 28 (Sunday).

Affected areas include Thu Duc City, District 7, District 8, Nha Be District, Binh Hung Commune (Binh Chanh District), and Can Gio District.

Due to the specific conditions of the water supply area, the water recovery time on the water supply network in some places far from the source will be slower than the main timeline mentioned above.

SAWACO said it will direct its affiliated units to regulate the water supply network to minimize areas with interrupted water supply, while increasing water supply by tanker trucks to key locations.

Meanwhile, Ben Thanh Water Supply Joint Stock Company also announced the groundbreaking of the project: "Development of pipeline D150 Pasteur street - odd sidewalk (Nguyen Dinh Chieu - Tran Quoc Toan), District 3".

Accordingly, to carry out the work of closing and connecting the pipeline at Pasteur Street on even-numbered sidewalks (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street to Tran Quoc Toan Street), Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, the company will interrupt the water supply.

The water supply interruption will take place from 10pm on July 27 (Saturday) to 5am on July 28 (Sunday); from 10pm on July 28 (Sunday) to 5am on July 29 (Monday). The water supply interruption will be in Vo Thi Sau ward (District 3).
