Organizing a writing camp for authors studying literary theory and criticism

The creative camp is an activity of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to concretize the policies of the Party and State on the development of literature and art in the new period; the conclusion of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference on November 24, 2021; concretize Decision No. 1909/QD-TTg dated November 12, 2021 of the Prime Minister on approving the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030; at the same time, attract and maximize the strength of the team of artists to create quality literary and artistic works of great scale, stature and ideology.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Creative Camp, presented books to officers and sailors of ship 286 Le Quy Don.

This is also the first program to specify Project No. 939/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 22, 2022 on Improving creative capacity and literary theory and criticism for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Over the years, the field of culture, literature and art has always been of interest to our Party and State, from the Cultural Outline in 1943 to the First National Cultural Conference held in 1946 under the chairmanship of the great President Ho Chi Minh, until the country entered a period of deep and wide integration with the world. Resolution of the 5th Central Committee, Session VIII, on "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" identified literature and art as one of the 10 key tasks. Resolution of the 9th Central Committee, Session XI, on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development" continued to affirm: Developing literature and art is one of the key tasks.

The organization of the Creative Camp is a concrete demonstration of the culture, sports and tourism sector actively implementing the viewpoints and tasks set forth by the Resolution of the National Party Congress. It is none other than the country's artists and writers with their patriotism, their endless creativity and their precious qualities who will be the owners of literary and artistic works in the near future.

Within the framework of the creative camp, artists will have many activities such as discussions, orientation of creative content; writing outlines and manuscripts at the Creative House; field trips and visits to the Naval Academy and Sailing Ship 286, historical and cultural relics in Nha Trang city./.
