On December 6, in Yen Thang commune (Yen Mo district), the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company and Yen Mo District People's Committee to organize the event "GLobalCheck Technology Festival".
Attending the event were leaders of the Department of Cooperation and Rural Development, Department of Crop Production (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development); leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of some provinces in the Red River Delta and North Central region; representatives of 250 agricultural cooperatives, service cooperatives, organizations and individuals using agricultural machinery with the need to apply digital technology equipment in production.
At the event, delegates experienced the actual operation of smart agricultural equipment such as: PC40 and G300 Pro spraying aircraft; G500 seed and fertilizer spreading aircraft; field leveling support equipment; automatic lawn mowers... The outstanding advantages of these devices are high automation, simple, accurate and fast operation, helping to save a lot of time, costs and labor.
Next, representatives of specialized units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Agricultural Extension Centers, Dai Thanh Company, and production households held discussions, exchanged and shared about the effectiveness of smart technology and mechanization; at the same time, shared about some difficulties when applying technology in the context of fragmented and small-scale fields, high machine costs... Some farmers discussed with the Company and the competent authorities of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development about prices, warranty policies, and support mechanisms of the province when purchasing modern technology machines for production...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dinh Van Khiem, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, emphasized: Agricultural production is currently facing many difficulties and challenges due to climate change, labor shortage, old farming practices, etc. Therefore, bringing modern machinery and equipment into production, closing the process from planting to processing and consumption will partly overcome the above problems, while helping to reduce production costs and increase income for farmers.
In recent times, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has advised the province to issue many practical mechanisms and policies to support farmers in promoting the application of mechanization in production. In the coming time, the sector will continue to strengthen propaganda, guidance, and consultation on support mechanisms and policies to quickly introduce new technologies to serve agricultural development. In addition, it is recommended that businesses, cooperatives, and producers research and boldly invest to develop production and business more effectively.
