Organizing high school graduation exams in Hanoi safely and seriously

(HNMO) - The Steering Committee for the 2023 Hanoi High School Graduation Exam has just issued Plan No. 01/KH-BCĐ to organize the high school graduation exam, determining the purpose of directing and organizing the high school graduation exam in the city this year in accordance with the exam regulations and schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training; ensuring that the exam is organized safely, seriously, objectively and fairly.

The Steering Committee for the High School Graduation Exam in Hanoi is responsible for directing all activities of preparing and organizing the exam; directing and inspecting departments, branches, sectors, organizations and educational institutions in the area to coordinate, support, and ensure necessary conditions for the operation of the examination council; and reviewing and resolving recommendations of the chairman of the examination council.

The Department of Education and Training - the standing unit of the Steering Committee for the high school graduation exam in the city - is responsible for directing and inspecting the completion of teaching plans, evaluating and classifying students; directing and organizing exam registration, managing exam registration files; preparing material conditions for the exam; coordinating with relevant units to organize exams for candidates studying foreign languages according to the pilot program permitted by the Ministry of Education and Training to use exam results in considering recognition of high school graduation.

At the same time, the Department of Education and Training is responsible for organizing training courses on exam organization; directing educational institutions to prepare material conditions for organizing exams; reporting problems arising during the exam organization process; organizing the handover of exam result certificates to candidates...

The Department of Education and Training is also responsible for organizing the recognition of high school graduation for candidates; directing the organization of granting temporary graduation certificates, high school graduation certificates and certificates of completion of general education programs; publicly announcing the score distribution of exams and component subjects, comparing the average score of exams and component subjects with the average score of the corresponding subject of the 12th grade school year of high schools.

The Steering Committee for the 2023 Hanoi High School Graduation Exam also assigned specific tasks to departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities and requested units to seriously carry out tasks according to the plan; assigned the Department of Education and Training as the focal point to guide the implementation, urge, inspect the implementation of units and synthesize the results, report to the City People's Committee.
