Attending the Conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh Province, along with Vice Chairwomen of the Provincial Front Committee and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of 11 districts, towns, cities and some typical communes and wards in the province.
It is known that in the first quarter of 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels focused on implementing social security work well, taking care of Tet gifts for the poor, strengthening propaganda work, mobilizing people to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, focusing on propagating and mobilizing young people to join the army, coordinating well the organization of the National Border Guard Day in localities, carrying out the construction of houses for poor households, eliminating temporary and simple houses, helping the poor stabilize their lives and escape poverty.
At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the content of the draft Political Report submitted to the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029. In addition, some delegates commented that the title of the report should be presented in a general, concise, clear manner, emphasizing the unique features of Binh Dinh province, in accordance with the goals and targets of local socio-economic development.
Some delegates also wanted to add innovative solutions in the work of monitoring and criticizing programs, projects, and issues of public concern, and propose solutions to enhance the position and promote the role of the Front in the coming time.
Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Vu, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province acknowledged and highly appreciated the delegates' comments on the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 12th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates, term 2024-2029. These comments will be received, synthesized and reported to superiors to complete the draft Political Report and personnel plan to be submitted to the Congress.
At the same time, it is emphasized that the local Fronts need to review the targets in the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019-2024, consider the targets that have not been achieved to focus on implementation, especially the targets on social security, construction of Great Unity houses, school buildings at school locations of some localities that are supported for construction, the list of poor households eligible for support of Great Unity houses, not to overlap or miss out on subjects, determined to basically eliminate simple, temporary, dilapidated houses in the locality by 2025.
Strengthening the construction and replication of self-management models for residential communities, especially models in the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", sustainable poverty reduction programs, promoting social supervision and criticism, especially policies directly related to people's lives.
Coordinate well in organizing the gift giving to Dien Bien soldiers. Regarding the Congress work, it is recommended that localities review the personnel plan, political report, proactively register working time and approve the Congress work to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. For the district-level Congress, it must be completed before June 20, 2024. The Congress personnel must ensure the correct structure and composition and strictly implement Directive 35 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee (term XX) on leading the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Dinh province, term 2024 - 2029.
