Also on this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Dien Bien Provincial Press Awards summarized and awarded the 2nd Dien Bien Provincial Press Awards in 2023, with the theme "Dien Bien Phu - the rendezvous of peace ". Based on the preliminary selection of hundreds of works in the branches, the Organizing Committee of the Awards received 120 press works for preliminary judging. Of which, 25 were printed press works, 25 were electronic press works; 27 were radio press works; 43 were television press works.

Through the process of scoring the entries, the members of the Jury analyzed each entry, evaluated the subject matter, social effectiveness, form, and content of the entry to select the entries for the final round and proposed that the Jury consider submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for decision on 44 entries, a group of entries to win the prize. Of these, 4 entries won first prize, 8 entries won second prize, 12 entries won third prize, and 20 entries won consolation prizes.

Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives with many achievements in organizing the 2nd Dien Bien Provincial Press Award in 2023.
