Revealing grand scenes at the opening of Ninh Binh Festival 2024

(Dan Tri) - Many spectacular performances and scenes are prepared to welcome domestic and international tourists at the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024.

On the evening of November 22, the rehearsal for the opening ceremony of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 took place, revealing an overwhelming stage in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

Accordingly, the opening ceremony named Golden Age of the Ancient Capital will take place on the evening of November 24, at Dinh Tien Hoang De Square.

Ms. Le Hai Yen - Scriptwriter, General Director of the program - revealed that the event will help the audience live in a heroic historical context, immerse themselves in a massive ancient film studio, arouse love for history to understand more, love more, admire more and be proud of the emotional historical characters and stories through the dynasties.

In the program, the public will enjoy "an ancient historical drama" both in terms of presentation and story about the ancient land of Ninh Binh.

This is a story about the historical flow of the Vietnamese people from the 10th century to the 19th century, the move of the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long, the expansion of the territory from Thang Long to Hue. The historical flow will pass through the 3 largest, oldest, and most glorious capitals in Vietnamese history.

Ms. Yen said that to do this, from stage design, music, participating artists... everything was carefully selected, practiced, and prepared meticulously over the past 2 months.

The entire scene and stage space will continuously move from beginning to end of the program, vividly and beautifully recreating many layers of emotions about historical anecdotes and legends.

"Instead of hiding the movements behind the scenes, the crew will let the audience see those movements, which is also witnessing the entire flow of history. From there, the audience can look back to the past, see the entire flow of history with its glorious and brilliant essence, and the respectful look before the ancestors," said the program's general director.

The organizers added that for the first time in Vietnam, the audience will see a completely mechanical moving stage at such an outdoor art program, with extremely elaborate investment, meticulous in every small detail.

This can be considered the most special mechanical moving stage ever in Vietnam, with 21 3D mapping projectors, impressive visual performances...

The team has a combination of lift tables, turntables, slide rails, hidden rails, with lift systems up to 30m high and 60m wide, like a large elevator of a 5-6 story building...

Along with the opening ceremony, Ninh Binh Festival also organized many activities such as the program Ninh Binh - Ao Dai on the heritage road on November 23, introducing modernized Ao Dai combined with traditional cultural heritage.

Duc Thuy Son Assembly Hall, open from November 26 to 27, will bring a poetic cultural and artistic space with poems carved on Duc Thuy Mountain.

The street festival taking place on November 29 with costume shows, art performances and folk activities will also create a joyful and unique atmosphere.

In particular, the Í a Fest grand music festival on the evening of November 30 will be an impressive closing performance, combining folk and contemporary music, opening a new direction for Ninh Binh to become a destination for international events in the future.
