On the afternoon of October 7, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary (October 10, 1973 - October 10, 2023).
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; Nguyen Van De - member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were representatives of the Vietnam Urban Environment and Industrial Zone Association; representatives of leaders, employees and workers of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company and related agencies and units.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the company's leader emphasized that Nghe An Urban Construction and Environment Joint Stock Company currently has over 500 employees, over 60% of whom are female. The company's Party Committee has 5 Party cells. Nghe An Urban Construction and Environment Joint Stock Company, formerly Vinh City Sanitation Enterprise, was established on October 10, 1973 under the Decision of Nghe Tinh Provincial People's Committee. Through many stages of development, in May 2016, the Company was equitized, with a larger scale and modern technical facilities, meeting the Company's production and business needs.
After nearly 50 years of construction and development, the Company has continuously expanded its market in terms of production scale, always completing the tasks assigned by superiors as well as meeting the requirements of customers. The Company officially operates under the model of a Joint Stock Company, gradually investing in technological innovation, developing in scale and production capacity to improve operational efficiency. This is an important milestone opening a new development stage with many potentials and prospects.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, comrade Bui Thanh An acknowledged the continuous efforts of the staff, workers and employees of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company over the past 50 years of striving and working hard to complete their tasks excellently. The provincial leaders also acknowledged the efforts of generations of leaders, workers and employees of the company that have fundamentally changed environmental sanitation work, contributing to economic growth, increasing state budget revenue, and creating jobs and income for workers in the area. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Company's establishment, comrade Bui Thanh An congratulated, commended and highly appreciated the efforts of the collective of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company.
To successfully complete the task and together with Nghe An implement Resolution 39 of the Politburo, especially the expansion of urban space and environmental sanitation waste treatment, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leadership team of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company to continue to care for the lives, improve working conditions of workers, and provide adequate equipment. The company's leadership continues to promote solidarity, dynamism and creativity, continue to effectively develop state capital, and complete production and business targets. Strengthen coordination and propaganda with people to raise awareness of environmental protection. Invest in purchasing machinery and equipment to further increase labor productivity.

On this occasion, the comrades attending the ceremony presented a banner from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to Mr. Nguyen Chi Thong - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company for his contributions to the work. Also at the ceremony, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company received a Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Association of Urban Environment and Industrial Parks.
