The National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed the contents submitted to the National Assembly at the Extraordinary Session at the end of February 2025.

Kinhtedothi- According to information from the National Assembly Office, the 42nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place for 2.5 days (from the afternoon of February 5 to February 7) to review and comment on important contents to be submitted to the National Assembly at the Extraordinary Session at the end of February 2025.

At the meeting, in order to prepare the content to be submitted to the National Assembly at the extraordinary session at the end of February 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the Draft Law on Government Organization (amended) and 2 drafts: Resolution of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term; Resolution of the National Assembly on the structure of the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.

The National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly and three drafts: Resolution of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies; Resolution of the National Assembly on the number of members of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee (amended); Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the specific tasks, powers and organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies.

The meeting also gave opinions on the Draft Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended). It also gave opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly to resolve issues arising in legal provisions related to the arrangement of the organizational apparatus.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Teachers and the Law on Chemicals (amended); gave opinions on the draft Ordinance on Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site; and reviewed the National Assembly's Report on People's Aspirations in January 2025.

The session also considered and approved a number of resolutions to implement the Law on Organization of People's Courts in 2024; a draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on principles, criteria and norms for allocating public investment capital from the state budget for the 2026-2030 period; a resolution approving the proposal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the organization of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
