On the morning of April 10, in Sa Pa town, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinated with the National Academy of Public Administration to organize a conference to foster and update knowledge and skills of provincial and district People's Council delegates in 2024, term 2021 - 2026.
Attending the conference were comrade Vu Van Cai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu, Deputy Director of the National Academy of Public Administration; more than 300 delegates of the Provincial People's Council, delegates of People's Councils of districts, towns and cities.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Vu Van Cai emphasized: The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council always identifies the importance of training operational skills and updating new knowledge for the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council Committees and People's Council delegates at the provincial and district levels to enhance the capacity to perform the responsibilities of elected representatives. In 2024, through assessing practical requirements, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council proposed to coordinate in organizing training courses on topics in the fields of administrative reform, labor - employment, religion, fees, charges, etc.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Vu Van Cai suggested that in addition to the topics presented by the lecturers, delegates attending the training conference should focus on discussing difficulties and problems in practical activities to discuss and find appropriate solutions to solve the problems. He believes that the conference will bring positive and clear impacts on the activities of People's Council delegates at all levels in 2024 and the following years.
The conference took place over two days (April 10-11). At the conference, delegates were exposed to the following topics: People's Council and the environmental field; People's Council and the issue of fees, charges and contributions from the people; People's Council and the construction of new rural areas; People's Council and the issue of labor - employment; People's Council and ethnicity - religion; People's Council and administrative reform.
The conference to foster and update knowledge and skills of the activities of provincial and district People's Council delegates in 2024 was organized to provide knowledge and foster necessary skills for provincial and district People's Council delegates for the 2021-2026 term, contributing to improving the quality of activities of People's Councils at all levels.
