The most notable new feature of the Zeekr 007 2025 model is that it is equipped with a new lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack called Golden Battery or Golden Bric, developed by Zeekr itself, with a capacity of 75kWh.

According to Chinese technology news site Fast Technology , since its launch in November last year, this model has had two battery versions: Golden with 75kWh capacity and CATL Qilin 100kWh.

The newly launched 2025 version still retains the Qilin 100kWh battery pack in the longer-range variant, supporting 5C super-fast charging. Meanwhile, the Golden Brick 75kWh battery pack is replaced by a new generation, with the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes, 4.5 minutes faster than the first generation.

This is achieved primarily by increasing the charging speed from 4.5C to 5.5C, equivalent to 410kW fast charging (DC).

Regarding customer demand, Car News China quoted a Zeekr representative at the product launch press conference saying that 66% of car buyers chose the Zeekr 007 versions using Golden Brick batteries.

The 0-100km/h acceleration time of the Zeekr 007 2025 is reduced from 5.4 seconds to 5 seconds for rear-wheel drive (RWD) versions, while the AWD version will take 3.4 seconds, a decrease of 0.1 seconds compared to before.

The AWD Performance version still completes this milestone in 2.84 seconds, according to Autohome .

Older versions of the Zeekr 007 can also achieve these numbers via over-the-air (OTA) software upgrades.

Zeekr claims that the 007 2025 model with the 75kWh Golden Brick battery can now charge faster than versions with 100kWh batteries, and is the fastest charging electric car in the world (Photo: Autohome).

Using an 800V electrical architecture, the Zeekr 007 is advertised to have a range of 688km to 870km per charge, with a claimed energy consumption of 12.5kWh/100km.

Both the 75kWh LFP and 100kWh Qilin versions can add 610km of range after 15 minutes of charging. All versions have a power generation feature.

The 2025 Zeekr 007 is equipped with the Haohan 2.0 intelligent driving assistance system, which works based on lidar sensors and cameras. Two Nvidia Orin chips control more than 30 sensors, allowing the car to handle 30 types of complex intersections with a success rate of more than 95%, according to Car News China .

The car's operating system has been upgraded to Zeekr OS AI, which allows voice control of all in-car systems. The operating system can also make suggestions, such as battery charging reminders or changing the air circulation mode on the air conditioning system depending on the situation, such as when entering a tunnel.
