Implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation between Nghe An province and Gwangju city (Korea) in the field of tourism, from July 20-23, Gwangju city government, Gwangju city Tourism Association, and Famtrip delegation surveyed some tourist destinations in Nghe An and discussed solutions to promote the opening of charter flights from Korea to Nghe An and vice versa.
Welcoming and working with the delegation were representatives of the Department of Tourism, Department of Transport, Department of Foreign Affairs, Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, Tourism Association and representatives of relevant agencies, localities, units and tourism businesses.

The Gwangju City Famtrip was organized to survey tourist destinations, specifically resort tourism products, health care, golf tourism in Nghe An and some tourism products connecting to Muong Thanh Greenland Xuan Thanh Golf Course (Ha Tinh). From there, a suitable tour chain will soon be formed to serve Korean tourists to Nghe An and help attract tourists from Gwangju City in particular and Korea in general to experience services in Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
During their stay in Nghe An, the delegation surveyed places such as Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan); Cua Lo Beach, Cua Lo Golf Course, Muong Thanh Greenland Dien Lam Golf Course, Meyresort Bai Lu (Nghi Loc); Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument, Vinh Ancient Citadel Gate, Emperor Quang Trung Temple, walking street and night food street (Vinh City) and services at high-class hotels and restaurants that meet tourist standards in Nghe An. At the same time, the delegation surveyed shopping locations for tourists, Sen Que Bac Cooperative craft village and experienced enjoying culinary culture...
Mr. Seon Sugh Yeon - Chairman of the Gwangju City Tourism Association (Korea) said that the delegation positively evaluated the quality of golf courses, 4-5 star hotels and shopping services at Lotte supermarkets, dining at some restaurants in Vinh City and Cua Lo Town. After the trip, the delegation will work with the Gwangju and Muan city governments to study the conditions of both sides to soon open a charter flight to bring visitors to play golf and travel in Nghe An.

The survey team also said that Nghe An province needs to conduct more research on sea tourism in Cua Lo town to increase services in winter. In addition, Kim Lien National Special Relic Site is a very valuable destination, it is necessary to develop more craft villages, souvenir products made of wood, and materials close to nature.
During the survey program, the Famtrip delegation had a discussion and discussed solutions to organize a charter flight from Gwangju - Muan - Nghe An. The two sides agreed and continued to study and advise the authorities of both sides to soon propose to higher levels to consider support in legal procedures and funding to open the flight route and help promote effective tourism cooperation between the two localities.
In the coming time, the delegation members hope that Nghe An province will continue to promote Nghe An tourism in Korea and encourage Nghe An businesses to open local restaurants, introduce golf services in Nghe An to enhance exchanges and connections to serve tourists, focusing on training in English and Korean languages for service at tourist service establishments.
