(PLVN) - The 15th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" Tourism Program in 2024 will be held in Bac Kan, associated with a number of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Bac Kan Province (August 24, 1949 - August 24, 2024). Many unique cultural activities will be held on this occasion.

The Tourism Program "Through the Heritage Lands of Viet Bac" is a regional cultural and tourism promotion program held annually, rotating among 6 provinces in the Viet Bac region, including: Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang.

In 2024, the 15th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" Tourism Program will be hosted by Bac Kan province, associated with activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Bac Kan Province Liberation Day (August 24, 1949 - August 24, 2024).

At the press conference, Mr. Pham Duy Hung - Vice Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Program Organizing Committee said that the program will be held from July to September 2024. In particular, the key activities will take place from August 24 to August 29, 2024.

Main activities include: Conference on promoting tourism destinations of 6 Viet Bac provinces; Opening of the Tourism Program "Through the heritage sites of Viet Bac"; Open Bac Kan province mountain bike race in 2024; OCOP agricultural products festival and culinary culture of 6 Viet Bac provinces; Competition for on-site tour guides; Conference on signing comprehensive cooperation on tourism communication of 6 Viet Bac provinces with Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Magazine.

Specifically, the time of the above activities is: The 15th "Through the Viet Bac Heritage Sites" Tourism Program - Bac Kan in 2024 will be opened at 8:00 p.m. on August 25, 2024 at the stage of the Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House Square. The 2024 Bac Kan Provincial Open Mountain Bike Race will be held for 2 days, from August 24-25, 2024 in Ba Be District.

The OCOP agricultural products festival and culinary culture of 6 Viet Bac provinces will take place from August 24-28, 2024 at the Bac Kan Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center. The on-site tour guide competition with the theme: "Experience a round of Viet Bac" will take place from August 20-25, 2024.

The signing conference of comprehensive cooperation on tourism communication of 6 Viet Bac provinces with Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Magazine took place at 2:00 p.m. on August 26, 2024.

In addition, Bac Kan also organized many activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bac Kan province (August 24, 1949 - August 24, 2024) such as: Organizing the music program and fashion show "Viet Bac Imprint"; Performing the national intangible cultural heritage of Bac Kan province; Exhibition of paintings and photos of 6 Viet Bac provinces and exhibition of photos and cultural space of the Tay ethnic group to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Bac Kan province.
