The Prime Minister requested to urgently complete and propose a specific investment plan to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway, and report to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha in March.

According to the Prime Minister, the disbursement task of the transport sector in 2024 of over VND 422,000 billion is very large. Completing this task will significantly contribute to promoting the country's economic growth; creating jobs for people as well as creating new development spaces to promote socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security. Based on the results of the pilot implementation of using sea sand, the Ministry of Transport announced the results of the pilot use of sea sand as the foundation of automobile roads and highways. Directing contractors to focus resources, organize construction in 3 shifts and 4 shifts for projects, especially the 2 expressway projects Dien Chau - Bai Vot, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao to complete on schedule as assigned on April 30. The Ministry of Planning and Investment was assigned to urgently complete the Appraisal Report of the expressway projects Dau Giay - Tan Phu, Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai in February. At the same time, urgently review and give opinions on the proposal to approve the adjustment of the investment policy for the construction project of Hanoi urban railway line No. 2, Nam Thang Long - Tran Hung Dao section. The Ministry of Finance completed the procedures for adjusting and extending ODA loans of sponsors for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway project. The Prime Minister also requested the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to direct the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) to strictly control the quality and progress of airport projects and the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project; and direct the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group to promptly hand over the site at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau project. Urgently complete and propose a specific investment plan to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, and report to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to chair a meeting with relevant ministries in March. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee must soon complete and put the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien urban railway project into operation and use. The Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee must coordinate with the Ministry of Transport to explain the opinions of agencies under the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee to promptly approve the investment policy of the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh project. The People's Committees of Lang Son, Hoa Binh and Tien Giang provinces are speeding up the progress of technical design, selecting contractors and investors for the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang, Hoa Binh - Moc Chau and Cao Lanh - An Huu projects to start construction soon.
