Welcoming the President of the Russian Federation Lawyers' Association to visit and work in Vietnam, and highly appreciating the cooperation results between the Russian Federation Lawyers' Association and the Vietnam Lawyers' Association in recent times, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the visit contributed to promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Prime Minister affirmed that Vietnam always appreciates and remembers the support and assistance that the people of the Soviet Union and Russia have given to Vietnam; believes that Russia will always develop stably; always values and wishes to continue to deepen and develop substantially the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation, contributing to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
The Prime Minister was pleased to note that over the past time, the political relationship between the two countries has continued to be promoted, with the two sides actively exchanging delegations and holding meetings between high-ranking leaders, especially on March 26, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong had a phone call with President Vladimir Putin. President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation to visit Vietnam in 2024 and the agencies of the two countries are actively preparing for the visit. In addition, economic and trade relations continue to be promoted, but are still modest and not commensurate with the potential and desires of both sides.

The Prime Minister suggested that the two countries continue to strengthen political trust, promote high-level visits; remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing economic and investment cooperation projects between the two countries in the spirit of harmonious benefits and shared risks; promote cooperation and experience sharing between ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries; promote cooperation in education and training, student exchange in the fields of basic sciences, cultural and artistic cooperation, tourism, people-to-people exchange, aviation connection, etc.
To contribute to concretizing the agreements of the two countries' senior leaders, the Prime Minister requested the Russian Federation Lawyers' Association and the Vietnam Lawyers' Association, and relevant agencies to review and effectively implement cooperation agreements and exchange and share experiences, continue to participate in building a legal framework for cooperation between the two countries, and actively promote economic, trade and investment cooperation...
Discussing regional and international issues, the Prime Minister suggested that the two sides continue to coordinate at multilateral forums to contribute to peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Chairman of the Russian Federation Lawyers Association Sergey Stepashin thanked the Prime Minister for taking the time to meet him; expressed his impression of Vietnam as a beautiful country, the Vietnamese people as very resilient in the struggle for national independence and unification, and today Vietnam is developing very dynamically.
Agreeing with the Prime Minister's opinions, the President of the Russian Federation Lawyers' Association affirmed that Russia attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen relations with Vietnam in all fields; will convey and report the contents of the meeting between the Prime Minister and the leaders and functional agencies of Russia; he personally will continue to contribute to promoting the relations between the two countries, especially the fields and contents that the Prime Minister has expressed opinions on.
