On behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has just signed Decision No. 149/QD-TTg dated February 6, 2024 recognizing Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province as meeting new rural standards in 2023.
The Decision also assigns the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directs the People's Committee of Loc Ha district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on production and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
After 12 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the socio-economic infrastructure in rural areas of Loc Ha district has been invested synchronously.
Previously, on the morning of January 24, 2024, in Hanoi, the Central Appraisal Council held a meeting to appraise documents, evaluate the results of building new rural areas and consider and recognize Loc Ha district as meeting the standards of a new rural district in 2023.
At the meeting, 100% of the members of the Central Appraisal Council agreed to submit to the Prime Minister to recognize Loc Ha district as meeting NTM standards in 2023.
Many agricultural and aquaculture production models in Loc Ha have developed, bringing high economic efficiency.
In the process of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, Loc Ha district has focused on leading, directing and organizing the implementation of the program, achieving quite remarkable results. Up to now, the locality has had 11/11 communes meeting the new rural standards (accounting for 100%), 2/11 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards (accounting for 18.2%), 1/11 communes meeting the model new rural standards (accounting for 9%); 9/9 district-level criteria meeting the standards according to the new rural criteria set for the period 2022-2025; Loc Ha town meeting the civilized urban standards according to regulations.
Up to now, Loc Ha district has 46/82 villages meeting model residential area standards and 42 gardens meeting model garden standards.
After 12 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the rural picture in Loc Ha district has appeared in bright colors with many outstanding highlights, the economic and social infrastructure in rural areas has been invested synchronously, especially essential infrastructure serving people's lives. Average income per capita reached 49.37 million VND/person/year, an increase of 4.67 times compared to 2011; the poverty rate was 4.62%... From 2011 to now, the mobilized resources for the construction of New Rural Construction in the district reached nearly 2,900 billion VND, of which, the people contributed nearly 331.4 billion VND and donated thousands of square meters of land equivalent to 84 billion VND. |
