On the morning of July 12, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) - District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, the 23rd International Leather and Footwear Exhibition opened. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang attended and cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The exhibition has a scale of 800 booths of leading enterprises from 20 countries and territories around the world, focusing on displaying and introducing products, raw materials, machinery and equipment, new technologies serving the leather, footwear and handbag industry such as: India, Bangladesh, Germany, Netherlands, Korea, USA, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, China, Australia, UK, Italy... and Vietnam.

Notably, at the main event, the 23rd International Exhibition of Leather and Footwear Products took place simultaneously, gathering finished product manufacturers from all over the world to introduce the latest designs, including footwear, handbags, leather products and fashion accessories. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to meet and connect with buyers and importers from Vietnam, ASEAN, the United States and Europe.

It is known that the Exhibition will take place until July 14, 2023 and is expected to attract more than 15,000 specialized visitors from Vietnam and other countries and regions to visit and trade.
