The valedictorian of Hanoi's 10th grade class scored 48.5 points and is the cousin of a female student who scored 1,600 on the SAT.

Nguyen Hoang Minh Quan is a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School.

In the 2024 Hanoi 10th grade exam, Quan scored 9.25 points in literature, 10 in math, and 10 in foreign language. According to the formula for calculating the total admission score = (math score + literature score) x2 + foreign language score, the total admission score of this male student is 48.50.

In addition, I took two different specialized subjects and got scores of 8.25 and 7.2.

Notably, Quan is the cousin of Nguyen Phuong Linh - a female student at Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong, who got a perfect SAT score of 1600 as recently reported by Dan Tri reporter.

Previously, in the entrance exam for specialized 10th grade, Minh Quan was admitted to 3/4 specialized schools under the University including: IT specialized school of Natural Science Specialized High School, English specialized school of Foreign Language Specialized High School and High School for Specialized Education University with scholarships.
