Professor Le Anh Vinh, Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, said that happy schools are a concept of great interest in Vietnam today. Therefore, a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the elements that create a happy school is an issue of concern not only to educators, administrators, parents, but also to the community.

According to Professor Vinh, it is necessary to build an educational program towards happy schools in Vietnam in a scientific, modern, standardized manner in line with trends in countries around the world.

It is one of the important foundations to build a happy school where there is always a feeling of love, acceptance of diversity, respect for individuality, integration, nurturing of physical health, mental health, and development of the intelligence of each school, each teacher and each student.

Mr. Vu Minh Duc, Director of the Department of Teachers and Educational Managers (Ministry of Education and Training), affirmed that the Ministry of Education and Training highly respects diversity and differences in building happy schools, but core values need to be unified to avoid "distortion" and inconsistency with the goal of happy schools.

Teachers and education experts listen to sharing about building happy schools

Mr. Duc also emphasized that building happy schools must come from the needs of each school and each individual, not turning building happy schools into a movement, a competition criterion and forcing schools to implement it. If we turn it into a nationwide movement and a competition criterion, we will put pressure on schools and teachers.

Ms. Dang Pham Minh Loan, Director of the Happy School Support and Development Fund, said: The Happy School Program - Happy Lof School is designed with specific action plans for teachers and students with 2 basic and comprehensive models that can be applied in both depth and breadth.

The difference and highlight of the program is to provide specific proposals and action plans such as curriculum, lesson plans and training programs for teachers; toolkits for teachers to implement in teaching and applying content for students; and a list of specific activities for students.
