Türkiye modernizes defense with US F-16 aircraft

US Defense Department spokesman Major General Patrick Ryder said on December 24 that Turkey's purchase of F-16 fighter jets will allow Ankara to modernize its military and increase its interaction with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
