According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, in July 2023, meat and meat product exports reached 1.87 thousand tons, worth 8.04 million USD, up 21% in volume and 12.3% in value compared to July 2022.

In the first 7 months of 2023, Vietnam exported 12.24 thousand tons of meat and meat products, worth 57.51 million USD, up 20.7% in volume and 37.4% in value over the same period in 2022.

In the first 7 months of 2023, Vietnam exported 5.39 thousand tons of meat and meat products to the Hong Kong market, worth 33.81 million USD, up 30.4% in volume and 61% in value over the same period in 2022.

Notably, in the first 7 months of 2023, the export of poultry meat and edible by-products continued to increase sharply, reaching 3.17 thousand tons, worth 8.28 million USD, up 335.7% in volume and 439.8% in value over the same period in 2022.
