Statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training after the university admission registration period ended showed that the number of candidates registering this year increased by 11% compared to last year.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5:00 p.m. today, the time the online registration portal was locked, the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their admission wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission wishes on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the 2023 high school graduation exam.

Previously, in 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training recorded more than 616,000 candidates registering for university entrance exams, accounting for 64.1% of the number of candidates registering for the 2022 high school graduation exam.

Thus, compared to the number of candidates registering for university admission on the system last year, the number of candidates registering this year increased by 73,000, which means an increase of 11% compared to last year.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6 is the time for candidates to pay the admission fee, this activity is also completely done online.
