The Phan Thiet City Military Command said that over the past time, the unit has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Military Command, the City People's Committee and the coordination, guidance and support of units and localities. Along with that is the proactiveness, positivity, constant creativity, solidarity and unity in the will and actions of officers and soldiers. This is the foundation and important condition for the city's military to effectively carry out the TĐQT movement, as well as the assigned political tasks.
To deepen the emulation movement, the City Military Command has proactively combined the TĐQT movement with the local patriotic emulation movement, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The focus is on the movement "The city's armed forces join hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers", the peak emulation period "Drinking water, remembering the source, showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution", the annual sprint emulation movement of the province and city. At the same time, the City Military Party Committee also focuses on implementing the model and emulation movement "3 strengthening", "Learning from other Party cells"; the emulation movement "5 no, 3 promoting" in training, competitions, sports; the model "The armed forces strengthen solidarity with religion and ethnicity", "The city's armed forces stick together and accompany fishermen".
These are typical models in the military that have been seriously implemented by officers and soldiers of the city's military. Through implementation, they have created strong motivation, stimulated creativity in officers and soldiers and achieved many results. Notably, the level and combat readiness of each force has been raised, and is regularly highly appreciated by the Provincial Military Command. In training, every year 100% meet the requirements, of which good and excellent accounts for 75%. Over the past 5 years, the city's military has also regularly coordinated with other forces to proactively detect, combat, and flexibly, promptly and effectively handle incidents arising from the grassroots in accordance with the Party and State's viewpoints, avoiding complications.
Together with the forces, the city's armed forces also performed well the task of training combined with mass mobilization work. Accordingly, they organized to help people clean the streets, clean the beaches, dredge canals in the fields, prevent and combat sea erosion, and participate in fighting forest fires with over 2,850 working days. Mobilized the construction of 7 military-civilian houses with a total amount of 430 million VND. Coordinated to organize medical examinations, provide medicine, and give free glasses to more than 1,000 people in Mui Ne, Thanh Hai, Phu Hai wards and Tien Loi commune. Gave 1,400 gifts to poor families on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. During the complicated Covid-19 epidemic, more than 27,000 officers, professional soldiers, and militiamen volunteered to participate in checkpoints, quarantine areas, patrols, and directly propagated and mobilized people to strictly comply with epidemic prevention regulations. Mobilized over 10 tons of food to support and help the people... thereby leaving a good image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" among the people.
It is known that through the emulation movement, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged, contributing to beautifying the glorious tradition of the Army and the locality. From 2019 to now, 118 collectives and 439 individuals have been commended at all levels in the emulation movement. 100% of party members in the armed forces are assessed to have fulfilled their tasks well and excellently, with no cadres or party members degrading in ideology, politics, ethics, or lifestyle.
