On May 20, according to information obtained by PV, the People's Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province has just issued Decision No. 1278/QD-XPHC on administrative sanctions against An Duong Investment Joint Stock Company.

This company is located at F11, Au Lac Street, An Dong Residential Area, An Dong Ward, Hue City. The legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Son Thang, with the title of General Director of the company.
An Duong Investment Joint Stock Company is the investor of An Dong Residential Area project.
The reason An Duong Investment Joint Stock Company was penalized was that it was trading in real estate that did not fully meet the conditions prescribed or was not allowed to be put into business according to regulations.
Specifically, the company sold 99 houses that were not eligible for sale as confirmed by the Department of Construction in Official Dispatch No. 2239/SXD-QLN&TTBDS dated October 17, 2016, which is not in accordance with the provisions of Article 55 of the 2014 Law on Real Estate Business.
In addition to being fined VND 500,000,000, this company is also suspended from real estate business activities for 04 months and 15 days for the An Dong Housing Project, from the date of receiving this Decision.
The decision also clearly states that An Duong Investment Joint Stock Company must strictly comply with this penalty decision. If An Duong Investment Joint Stock Company fails to voluntarily comply within the time limit, it will be forced to comply according to the provisions of law.
Previously, Nguoi Dua Tin reported that, also for violations of real estate business where the real estate did not fully meet the conditions as prescribed or was not allowed to be put into business as prescribed, IMG Hue Investment Joint Stock Company was fined 500,000,000 VND and suspended from real estate business activities for 04 months and 15 days for the An Cuu New Urban Area project.
Specifically, IMG Hue Investment Joint Stock Company is the investor that sold the M21, N26, S2 townhouses of the An Cuu New Urban Area project in the form of selling future housing but did not notify the provincial housing management agency that the housing was eligible for sale, and the Department of Construction did not have a document approving the sale.
