The Saigon Riverbank Park is about 20 hectares wide, 600 meters long and is implemented according to the plan to renovate and embellish the space on the East bank of the Saigon River, from Ba Son Bridge to Thu Thiem Tunnel of Thu Duc City People's Committee. After being put into use, the park will not only beautify the landscape but also become a creative symbol and promise to become an ideal place for entertainment and recreation for Ho Chi Minh City residents and tourists.
The entire park is divided into many categories such as a multi-purpose community activity yard, a series of floating aquatic rafts along with a system of landscapes, trees, stone benches, walking paths, pedestrian bridges, welcome gates, symbols... In particular, the highlight is the sunflower field with an area of over 5,200 m2 located on the riverbank area and behind An Khanh Temple, expected to be put into service on the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year, attracting the attention of many people.
Speaking at the event, a representative of the Thu Duc City People's Committee said that this is not only a green park but also a space to honor the cultural and historical values of Thu Thiem land. An Khanh communal house, Thu Thiem Church, and Thu Thiem Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation are places that preserve traditional beauty and beliefs.
In addition, the leaders also expressed their gratitude for the contributions of the business community, appreciating that in the context of economic difficulties, the units still accompanied the city to improve the landscape and develop tourism.
The sunflower symbol placed on the walking street is a new check-in model for many people.
