Half marathon is coming soon, capturing beautiful moments of Thu Duc City

The People's Committee of Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City has just provided information to the press about the 2nd Thu Duc City Half Marathon in 2024 (Thu Duc City Run 2024) on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the founding of Thu Duc City (January 1, 2021 - January 1, 2025), the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The race is an annual iconic sporting event of Thu Duc City, organized by the Thu Duc City People's Committee in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Athletics Federation, HAPI Event Company and Delta, with the sponsorship of strategic partner SonKim Group. The race will take place from November 30 to December 1, 2024 at Saigon Riverside Park (Thu Thiem Ward).

Athletes have the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air with unique riverside routes, capturing the most beautiful moments of Thu Duc City for all distances. Participants will be immersed in the experiences, many cameras are arranged along the running route to capture beautiful frames, athletes can receive free photos as souvenirs. In particular, participants will spread green energy and meaningful social activities right at the race such as recycling plastic bottles and waste into useful items.

Half Marathon to Explore the Beautiful Route

The Thu Duc City Run 2024 half-marathon is expected to attract about 4,000 athletes. The races will start at 3:45 p.m. on November 30; 4:45 p.m. on November 30; 5:15 a.m. on December 1; 5 a.m. on December 1 and 4:30 a.m. on December 1, corresponding to the routes of 1.5 km, 3 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km.
