The 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition 2025 was launched on November 11, 2024 at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Cam Le District, Da Nang City.

In 1971, the UPU International Letter Writing Competition was first organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU). Since then, the competition has been maintained annually, providing a useful playground for students under 15 years old worldwide. Each year, the competition attracts millions of entries from more than 190 countries and territories.

The contest contributes to developing students' writing skills and richness in creative thinking; helps them approach and perceive social and contemporary issues and express their thoughts on these issues; fosters and nurtures the feelings and responsibilities of the young generation towards society, country and the world and helps them understand more about the role of the Postal sector in life and social development.
