(Dan Tri) - Although they had never met, Mr. Hoang did not expect that his half-sister would still be looking for him after decades of separation. On the day of their reunion, their father had passed away, but they were still somewhat comforted because they had found each other.

"It all matches, I'm your younger brother. Dad kept telling me about you. Now he's gone, but my sisters and I have been looking for you for decades," through the phone screen, Ms. Kim Phuong (living in Denmark) could not hold back her tears when looking at the man whose face looked exactly like her father.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang (born in 1960, living in Binh Dinh province) was surprised because he did not expect that his half-sister still remembered and kept looking for him after decades of separation. At first, Mr. Hoang was surprised, but then he smiled happily with tears in his eyes.

The clips recording Mr. Hoang's reunion attracted millions of views and thousands of emotional comments.

It is known that Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang's parents are Mr. Nguyen Cong Phung and Mrs. Do Thi Mai. Since Mr. Hoang was young, due to family conflicts, Mrs. Mai took her son to live elsewhere and cut off her relationship with her husband.

Besides Mrs. Mai, Mr. Phung has another wife and 4 children, of which Mrs. Ngoc Bich and Ngoc Anh always hear stories from their father about his lost son.

While he was alive, Mr. Phung returned to the place where Mrs. Mai used to live many times to look for her but could not hear any news about her and her son. In 2011, before passing away in Nha Trang City, he still wished to see his son again.

As for Mr. Hoang, even though he was at a rare age and knew for sure that his father had passed away, he still yearned to find his roots. Therefore, when he heard others say that they had met his father in Gia Lai, he went to look for him many times but still got no results.

From his mother's story, Mr. Hoang learned that his father had married and had many daughters. Therefore, he decided to post on a Youtube channel specializing in finding lost relatives. He hoped to connect with his half-sisters, giving him the opportunity to know who his father was.

At the time the video was uploaded to Youtube, in just a short time, Ms. Kim Phuong accidentally watched it and was so moved that she was speechless. She immediately commented below the video, affirming that she was Mr. Hoang's sister.

The first meeting after 64 years of separation, Ms. Kim Phuong burst into tears when all the information exchanged by both sides matched. Moreover, Mr. Hoang's appearance had many similarities to her father.

"When I found Mr. Hoang, I told Ms. Ngoc Bich the news, making her burst into tears and happy. She was the eldest sister so she knew everything clearly. However, 3 weeks after hearing the news, she suddenly passed away from a heart attack. This made me even more heartbroken and regretful that she was not present at the moment of reunion," Ms. Phuong said in tears.

At the end of November, the whole family reunited in Nha Trang City. At that time, Mr. Hoang finally could not hold back his tears, hugging his sisters and the members of his paternal family.
