Government Inspectorate requests to urge resolution of a series of hot cases

(Dan Tri) - The Government Inspectorate requested the Central Citizen Reception Committee to urge the resolution of hot cases related to agricultural and forestry land and 35 cases directed by the Prime Minister according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Security.


According to information from the Central Citizen Reception Committee (Government Inspectorate), this year the Central Citizen Reception Headquarters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City received nearly 3,600 visits with 8,500 citizens presenting 3,550 cases.

The Government Inspectorate alone received nearly 2,400 visits with 6,800 citizens presenting 2,400 cases; received 245 large delegations with 4,200 citizens presenting 243 cases.

The Central Citizen Reception Committee has classified and processed nearly 13,000 petitions from citizens; deployed inspection and supervision working groups in Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Dien Bien, Son La, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Hung Yen, Hai Duong.

This agency also proactively advised, proposed inspections, coordinated public reception, ensured security and order to serve the Party Congress, and grasped the situation of mass complaints and denunciations that were at risk of becoming hot spots in Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Tuyen Quang, and Lao Cai.

The online citizen reception model was piloted to gradually apply it on a large scale, creating favorable conditions, saving costs and time for people and citizen reception work. By the end of November, 39 localities had completed the connection, ready to use to receive, dialogue and mobilize citizens when requested.

In addition, implementing the direction of the Government Inspector General, the Central Citizen Reception Committee has presided over and coordinated the inspection and settlement of disputes and complaints related to land originating from forestry farms in 6 localities, including Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Lam Dong, Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai, and Quang Ninh.

Synthesize reports from 24 localities, analyze causes and problems to propose solutions to completely resolve land disputes and complaints related to agricultural and forestry companies nationwide.

At the recent meeting to deploy work in 2025, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy assessed that the Central Citizen Reception Committee has made efforts, overcome difficulties, and united to excellently complete all tasks, especially in the context of citizens' complaints in Hanoi still having potential complicated developments.

In 2025, Mr. Huy suggested that the Central Citizen Reception Committee continue to promote the outstanding results achieved, overcome difficulties with the spirit of "not being passive, waiting for instructions, not letting people wait for work", but proactively advising, proposing, and closely following the key and central contents.

Mr. Huy emphasized the need to strengthen coordination, grasp the situation, and urge urgent cases, including the land lawsuit case of the forestry farm and 35 cases directed by the Prime Minister according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Central Citizen Reception Committee must also continue to support localities in receiving, dialogue with, and mobilizing citizens when requested, ensuring the success of especially important political events in 2025.
