Thai Hoa said he was excited because after a period of only playing poor roles, he got to portray a tycoon in the movie "The Price of Happiness".
The crew released a teaser trailer on March 4, introducing Thai Hoa's character Thoai. The actor said that after many years, he finally accepted a role with a rich image. Recently, he has been remembered by the audience through a series of hard-working characters with poor fates, such as in Con Nhót nhớt chồng and Cay tao no hoa.

Thai Hoa said: "I have more experience playing the role of a mature, rich, powerful man. During the month of filming, I had many emotions, excitement mixed with nervousness."
The actors are carefully created by the producers, including investing in costumes, often appearing in settings such as villas, yachts, and driving luxury cars. Thai Hoa said that in real life, he has a simple dress sense of T-shirts and shorts, and his previous roles were also just ordinary, so when wearing a vest or suit, he feels a bit uncomfortable. However, after getting into the rhythm of the film crew, colleagues, and feeling the character, Thai Hoa forgot everything to complete the scenes. "I don't expect or have high expectations. The audience only needs to remember the character I play, they don't need to remember who Thai Hoa is," the actor said.

Director Nguyen Ngoc Lam said that when writing the script, he intended the role of a tycoon for Thai Hoa. During the filming process, he was satisfied with the actor's attitude and the way he played the role, inspiring everyone around him.
The film revolves around the story of Mr. Thoai (Thai Hoa), Mrs. Duong (Xuan Lan) and their children - everyone is proud of their wealth and moral life. However, when faced with difficulties, contradictions and conflicts in life, they choose to deal with them in an unexpected way. It seems that fame and money will build happiness, but then everything becomes a burden, making those who were "born at the finish line" feel suffocated and confined. The project has the message: "The price of happiness is always exchanged for pain. In family life, sympathy between members is the most important thing".
The cast also includes Huu Chau, Quang Minh, Uyen An, Truong Thanh Long, Lam Thanh Nha, Be Quyen, Tram Anh. The film was filmed mainly in Ho Chi Minh City and will be released in April.
