The conference listened to reports on the Operation and Management Plan for the last 6 months of 2024 of THADICO and its member corporations. In order to effectively exploit the integration and complementarity between the member corporations in the THACO ecosystem, along with the National Assembly passing a number of important laws such as the Law on Land, Housing, Real Estate Business, etc., THADICO determined that the most important factor is to change promptly, proactively adjust the strategy, operation and management plan for the last 6 months of the year to complete the 2024 plan goals, build a foundation for implementing the 5-year plan (2023-2027), ensuring the completion of the set goals.
In the plan for the last 6 months of the year, THADICO identifies the main goals as follows:
- Traffic system, industrial park, urban area project complex in Chu Lai: completion of seaport works (Expanding and upgrading Chu Lai port, ensuring reception of 50,000-ton ships and dredging and deepening Ky Ha channel to a depth of -9.3m) and clearance of THACO Chu Lai industrial park.
- Complete the artistic lighting project of Ba Son Bridge (Thu Thiem 2); focus on investment legal work and planning, design of projects in Sala Urban Area.
- For real estate projects: focus on implementing legal procedures (investment, land, construction) and starting construction of 02 projects: Tay Ho Tay Commercial Center - Hanoi and Golf 1 Project - Da Lat; adjusting and operating new operating and management models, determining the strategic role of design work; completing legal procedures, conceptual design work and pre-construction for 12 projects, eligible for construction implementation in 2025 according to investment phases.
Regarding management: THADICO restructures the Blocks with the functions of managing and operating Investment - Construction projects according to each segment of the value chain. Perfecting and upgrading the management operations at 3 levels, in which the Legal Operations are considered the main operations and together with the Finance and Accounting Operations go hand in hand with investment and construction activities throughout the value chain. For the Corporations/Member Companies, complete the Company restructuring and perfect the operating apparatus to suit the new stage.
At the Conference, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO emphasized: THADICO becomes a pioneering Investment - Construction Group in the new development stage; at the same time, it continues to demonstrate its role as an investment, construction and business unit, managing and operating integrated and complementary transport infrastructure, industrial park, urban area and real estate projects, creating differences and competitive advantages for the Corporations and THACO.
