Releasing 35,000 additional fish fry at Lak Lake and Buon Triet Dam

On the morning of September 8, the Department of Fisheries coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lak district, the People's Committee of Lien Son town and Buon Triet commune to organize a launching ceremony for releasing fish fry to restore aquatic resources in 2023.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and members of the fisheries association participated in releasing 35,000 freshwater fish fry such as grass carp, bighead carp, bighead carp, catfish, and perch. Of which, 15,000 fish were released in Lak Lake and 20,000 fish in Buon Triet Dam. It is known that in this fish release to restore aquatic resources, the Fisheries Department released fish in the districts of Krong Ana, Krong Pac, Krong Nang, Lak and Ea H'leo from the budget allocated by the Provincial People's Committee.

Through this activity of releasing fish to replenish and regenerate aquatic resources, we aim to call on organizations, individuals engaged in fishing and aquatic exploitation activities and the community to join hands to protect and develop natural aquatic resources. At the same time, we will add more local aquatic species to natural water bodies, contributing to creating livelihoods and increasing income for people.
