French Navy cruiser Vedemiaire conducts joint training with Vietnam Coast Guard

During the friendly visit to Da Nang City, the French Navy's Vedemiaire cruiser exchanged fire prevention and fighting on board with the Vietnam Navy Region 3 Command and conducted joint training with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command.

On the morning of April 11, the French Navy cruiser Vedemiaire docked at Tien Sa port (Da Nang city), starting a friendly visit to Da Nang city that will last until April 15. The French Navy cruiser Vedemiaire brought 98 officers and sailors, led by Lieutenant Colonel Sebastien Drouelle, the ship's commander. On the morning of April 11, a solemn welcoming ceremony took place at Tien Sa wharf, with representatives of the leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Naval Region 3 Command, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command, the Da Nang City Military Command, the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, the Foreign Affairs Department of the Military Region 5 Command and representatives of the Foreign Affairs Department (Ministry of National Defense).

On this occasion, the Vedemiaire French Navy cruiser also welcomed delegates, representatives of French businesses and the French community in Vietnam, the Union of Friendship Organizations of the city, and representatives of a number of agencies, departments, the Ministry of National Defense, and students to visit the ship.

During their stay in Da Nang City, the French Navy Vedemiaire cruiser command group visited the ship of the Naval Region 3 Command and played volleyball. In particular, the French Navy Vedemiaire cruiser force participated in an exchange with the Naval Region 3 Command on fire and explosion prevention and control on ships, and conducted joint training with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command at sea.
