"Collective staff" donated 2,000 VND: Leader of a commune in Hanoi complained

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front continued to post 13,358 pages of statements of donations to people affected by storm No. 3 on September 13.

According to the list of 13,358 pages posted, on September 13, there were 386,402 transactions transferring money to support people affected by storm No. 3 to the account number of the Relief Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Among them, a transfer content that caught many people's attention, the note said "collective staff of the People's Committee of Cong Hoa commune, Quoc Oai, Hanoi support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods" with the amount of 2,000 VND.

In response to this information, Secretary of the Cong Hoa Commune Party Committee Do Hong Son affirmed that the locality did not support people affected by storms and floods by transferring money to the account number of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The leader of Cong Hoa commune affirmed that the locality does not support through the above form of transfer (Screenshot).

From that, Mr. Son said that the above transfer content could be caused by someone impersonating the unit.

According to the Party Secretary of the commune, from September 9, the locality mobilized cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to share with people affected by storms and floods, at least one day's salary.

Since then, the local Fatherland Front Committee has been responsible for receiving and counting. The time to receive support is still open and counting up to now, counting only one person who donated the most, the amount has been 10 million VND.

"After counting all the donations, the locality will send cash to the Fatherland Front of Quoc Oai district. We do not support via text messages or bank transfers," he informed.

As of 5:00 p.m. on September 16, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee had received a total of VND1,236 billion. The Central Relief Mobilization Committee has provided support to localities in two phases with a total amount of VND1,035 billion.

The Central Relief Mobilization Committee will continue to update and publicize the list of supporting organizations and individuals on mass media.
