Intensive fire prevention and fighting skills training in the community

The training conference was attended by nearly 300 people, including leaders of the People's Committees of wards; functional units, members of the District Fire Prevention and Fighting Steering Committee; police commanders of wards and grassroots police officers of wards specializing in the field of local police.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, Vice Chairman of Dong Da District People's Committee Ha Anh Tuan said that through actual inspection, examination, and post-inspection, it can be seen that there are still many contents in handling violations of fire prevention and fighting that have not been implemented according to regulations.

In addition, in the face of the potential risk of complex fires and explosions throughout the city, especially in family homes; houses combined with production and business; houses with many apartments, houses for rent, boarding houses; warehouses interspersed in residential areas, causing serious consequences for people and property... The District People's Committee organized an in-depth training conference for the police force of the wards and will soon deploy it to the forces that are members of the District Fire Prevention and Fighting Steering Committee.

The organization of the intensive training conference is primarily aimed at enhancing the responsibility of Party committees at all levels, ward leaders, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in fire prevention and fighting and rescue work in the district. At the same time, it helps the grassroots police force understand their responsibilities in implementing State regulations on fire prevention and fighting and rescue work.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Thanh, Deputy Chief of Dong Da District Police, disseminated a number of documents on fire prevention and fighting.

The training program is also an opportunity to disseminate the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting, guiding documents on fire prevention and fighting, rescue and basic knowledge on State management of fire prevention and fighting and rescue.

The goal after the training is that officers and soldiers know how to skillfully use the fire-fighting tools and equipment available at the facility, thereby promptly handling and extinguishing fires as they arise; know how to handle fire, explosion and rescue situations.

At the conference, the reporters thoroughly grasped a number of plans to implement key tasks in the field of fire prevention and fighting; thoroughly grasped a number of points to note when implementing the Government's Decree on fire prevention and fighting; requirements and skills in basic investigation, management, guidance, urging, inspection, and handling of violations; answered and guided difficult situations during the implementation process at the facility; disseminated new legal regulations on the Law and Decree; responsibilities and authority of ward-level leaders and functional units in State management of fire prevention and fighting.
